The hardest part about making this card? It's the envelope. Because this uses a rubberband mechanism, the envelope needs to be strong, like a rigid photo mailer. Unfortunately the premade ones for CDs are too small.
cpeep - the mechanism pulls the two opposite corners together to form a box shape. The flowers are not pulling in. I do have to be careful when selecting the flowers to only pick ones that will lie flat. When flattened it will fit into a 6" square envelope.

ReplyDeleteOn my wedding cake pop up I had to take the centers out of the flowers and replace them with gems. Even so, it wouldn't have mailed well.
