Often I make cards without adding the sentiment right away. This allows me to use the same design for various occasions.

The Scent is Amazing!

This unfinished project is my first pine needle basket. Something I hadn't anticipated was how wonderful damp pine needles smell!

Card Swap!

It sure has been fun looking at everyone's cards, from letterpress to watercolor! Can't show you the cards (since I haven't asked permission from the artists), but I do want to say that this is a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend participating in one or organizing one yourself.

Reminds me of the hours I spent as a child trying to find a four leaf clover in the lawn :) Never did btw....

If you check back from my earlier posts, you will see a version of this card that has a lot more detail to it. This simplified card saved a lot of time, which was great because I needed a lot of them!

Note that the letter slides out from the mailbox when the card is opened.
